April 1st – Pekin Public Library– the entire month JDraper Glass will be on display
April 4th – 1st Friday at Studios on Sheridan, from 5-9 pm. Hot Glass demos and cup sale! Come early and get your pick from our new line of colors. Normally $25 each, these are offered for $20 this night only while in stock. The Studios on Sheridan’s monthly open house will feature new work in the main gallery, live music, appetizers and drinks. We also welcome Moon Dancer Boutique, formerly at the Shoppes of Grand Prairie, which will have it’s grand opening!
April 18th & 19th Glass Faberge Egg Making Workshop, from 11 am – 4 pm both days. Join us for a “hands on” experience and make a brilliantly colored Faberge glass egg. We will be demonstrating the process of cane and murrini pulling and then incorporating these tiny intricate glass chips into our eggs. Email jeremie@jdraperglass.com to sign up. $45 per person or $65 per couple.
April 22nd at 2 pm, Illinois Central College Arts Week, lecture and slide show. If you missed Jeremie’s lecture at the museum last month, you can attend this lecture and learn about the process of glass. ICC will showcase its arts program in a variety of ways during Arts Week from April 22-26 on the East Peoria campus.
